DRIVER

DRIVER is a Euroepan Union initiative that was a precursor to OpenAIRE, that maintains an open Access search service.

JULIET

This SHERPA Service provides a summary of funder's policies on Open Access to the research results from the projects they fund. This is integrated with the RoMEO service, so that JULIET tells authors what funders want them to do: RoMEO tells them if publishers will let them do it.

LIBER

LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche - Association of European Research Libraries) is the main research libraries network in Europe.

NECOBELAC

The NECOBELAC project aims to establish a network of collaboration between European countries (EU) and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), to spread knowledge on the methods of scientific writing and publishing and on appropriate tools for the open access dissemination of information for the protection of public health.

OAPEN

OpenAIRE

OpenAIRE is an European project aiming at building support structures for researchers in depositing FP7 research publications through the establishment of the European Helpdesk and the outreach to all European member states through the operation and collaboration of 27 National Open Access Liaison Offices.

OpenAIREplus

OpenAIREplus, funded by the EC 7th Framework Programme, will work in tandem with OpenAIRE, extending the mission further to facilitate access to the entire Open Access scientific production of the European Research Area, providing cross-links from publications to data and funding schemes. This large-scale project brings together 41 pan-European partners, including three cross-disciplinary research communities.

PEER

PEER (Publishing and the Ecology of European Research) is a collaboration between publishers, repositories and researchers, investigating the effects of the large-scale, systematic depositing of authors’ final peer-reviewed manuscripts (so called Green Open Access or stage-two research output) on reader access, author visibility, and journal viability, as well as on the broader ecology of European research.

Repositories Support Project (EN)

The Repositories Support Project (RSP) is a 5.5 year JISC-funded initiative contributing to building repository capacity, knowledge and skills within UK higher education institutions. CRUI Open Access working group

The conference of the rectors of Italian Universities established a working group on Open Access to support the implementation of the Berlin Declaration in Italy. Members of the group are librarians, professors, and other people committed to the promotion of the OA movement.

HAL (Hyper Articles en Ligne)

HAL is a multi-disciplinary open access archive for the deposit and dissemination of scientific research papers, whether they are published or not, and for PhD dissertations.
